How can I use Rubrics in my course?

Rubrics can be created by going to Course Tools and then Rubrics.

Original Course View:

To create a rubric:
  1. Click Course Tools in the left navigation bar and then click Rubrics.
  2. Select Create Rubric.
  3. Enter in the row and column information. 
  4. Type a percentage or point value for each row and column.
  5. Click Submit.
To use the rubric when grading an assignment, go to the Grade Center, find the column and click the chevron next to the column name. Then click Edit Column Information and Add Rubric.

Ultra Course View:

The Ultra course view also allows rubrics. Visit Blackboard Help ULTRA: About rubrics for information on how to set up rubrics in the Ultra view.
